Evaporative Cooled Condenser Retrofit

Energy Efficient Upgrade for Residential Air-Conditioning

Project Overview

This project focuses on retrofitting residential air-conditioning systems with evaporatively cooled condensers. By adding evaporative media, the system achieves greater efficiency and reduces compressor workload, ultimately cutting energy costs and emissions.

The retrofit is designed to be plug-and-play, easily added to existing units with minimal modifications. CFD and energy simulations validate its performance and savings potential in hot-dry climates.
